By Bus: KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) runs frequent buses from Bengaluru to Mysuru, and you can either get off at a stop near Srirangapatna/KRS and take a short local ride the rest of the way, or continue into Mysuru city and catch a connecting bus from there. Total journey time by bus tends to run 3.5 to 4 hours, including the local connection at the end.
By Train: If you’d rather take the train, services from KSR Bengaluru City Junction toward Mysuru also stop at smaller stations like Pandavapura and Srirangapatna, which sit closer to the gardens than Mysuru city itself.
